Inferno - Paradeigma (Phosphenes of Aphotic Eternity)

After their chaotic Gnosis Kardias, Czech Avant-black metal band Inferno returns with their new material taking from halls of Hell. By ‘’Paradeigma (Phosphenes of Aphotic Eternity)’’ things get sicker, doomier, catchier than they have ever been.
Overall: 90/100
Darkness surrounds and starts to decay your hearth with ''Decaying Virtualities Yeam for Asymptopia'', slow-paced but heavy drums come along with ambient chants. The strongness of the bass guitar gives us a hint from torturing Methods of hell.
The pace gets fast as the
flames with ''The Waiting Horizon'', Shadows running through the walls with heavy
speedy riffs, almost jazz-like drum patterns get the things enjoyable in this
darkness. Heavy and gloomy growls set the atmosphere under deep the ground, to
the near of Nameless things. Strong and crushing bass performs like a demon who
wants your soul.
Mourning screams from the ''Descent Into Hell of The Future'' creates an absolute atmosphere for the
following catchy riff. We can understand from the song that drums plays a big
role in Inferno’s music. Even so, the other half of the song would be good
background audio to the mighty Minas Morgul from the Lord of the rings.
The scariest one ''Phosphenes'', standouts with the scary bassline and ambient sounds that I would not recommend to you experiencing alone. ''Ekstasis of The Continuum'', probably has the most material among the others. It is like a manifesto with all those great riffs, howls, and ambient works.
Going back to the shadow
with ''Stars Within And Stars Without Projected Into The Matrix Of Time’’ Once
again, atmospheric elements hit your face, drums dancing with the bass, and the tempo goes faster.
Overall, production quality, drums,
and equality of ambient materials can make this the best of the year for the
Avant-black metal scene.
